I hope all my gardening friends enjoy this blessing for them and their gardens.
May the spring come early and the fall stay on,
No 90’s in summer and winter soon gone.
May the hosta and daylily self-seed new varieties,
Ones that impress folks in their societies.
May the vegetables grow tasty and big and nutritious,
And elude attacks of insects so vicious.
May the rain be timely and in slow, steady showers,
To help your gardens grow the most beautiful flowers.
May the bees buzz, butterflies flutter and hummingbirds hum,
While drinking nectar from flowers grown by your green thumb.
May the soil be rich and compost amended,
And earthworms continue to keep it well tended.
May you work hard and long and sore muscles get,
But remember to take time to relax and enjoy it.
